Yes. You can easily keep a large Rum Cake Fairy cake for up to 2 months in the freezer. Please refer to Cake Storage and Serving suggestions . Mini rum cakes are best stored for no more than 2 days.

The walnuts are the topping on the Original Golden rum cake and are not mixed in the batter of the cake.
