Generally, you should baste foods during last 5-10 minutes of barbecuing or broiling with KC Masterpiece® Barbecue Sauce, as sauce may burn at high temperatures.

How long can you keep Isaly’s Barbecue Sauce in the refrigerator after opening?

We recommend using properly refrigerated sauce within three weeks of opening.

What does the “use by” or “sell by” date on Isaly’s Barbecue Sauce jars mean?

It means that the sauce is safe to eat until this date as long as the jar is unopened. No matter what the stated date, the sauce, once opened, is safe to eat only up to 21 days and only under proper refrigeration.

I’m making Isaly’s Chipped Chopped Ham Barbecue Sandwiches for a large number of people. How do I determine how much Chipped Ham and Barbecue Sauce to buy?

We suggest using 3-4 oz. ham, and 2 oz. of Barbecue Sauce per sandwich. So 1 lb. of Chipped Ham will make 4-5 sandwiches.
