Is Chuckwagon Beef organic?
The general public may not realize this, but an operation can be certified “organic” and still grain-fatten its beef. We do not use hormones of any kind and we never feed antibiotics to our animals. We do annually vaccinate our cattle to maintain a healthy herd. We had considered going organic, but raising healthy cattle in a natural setting on a lifetime of grass was more important to us. We feel it is not only better for the animal, but the end result is better tasting and more nutritious as well.
