What is included with the Disney Dining Plan?

The Disney Dining Plan includes one counter-service meal, one snack, and one table-service meal per person, per night of your stay for everyone in your travel party ages 3+. For example, a party of four that is staying for five nights would receive 20 counter-service meals, 20 snacks, and 20 table-service meals to use during the current trip.

Can I have the Disney Dining Plan?

Yes, you can add the Disney Dining Plan if you wish. This would be payable in full on check-in. The Dining Plan must be added to your reservation prior to your arrival. What is the Disney Dining Experience?

Essentially it’s a discount programme which gives Florida residents and Annual or Seasonal Passholders 20% off the price of food and beverages (including alcohol) at a huge range of restaurants on Disney property. There are some exclusions – for example, you can’t get the discount on major holidays and the discount only applies to the member’s check. Who can purchase the Disney Dining plan?

Any guest who is staying at at Disney resort (doesn’t matter if it is Pop Century or the Grand Floridian). You must purchase a Magic Your Way package that includes your Disney Resort stay and Magic Your Way park passes. Your package must also be between 3 and 10 nights in length. Other than that, there are no requirements. Disney Vacation Club members staying one points at a DVC resort are also able to add the dining plan to their stay as are Annual Passholders who book a discounted room only reservation.

What exactly is the Disney Dining plan?

Basically, it is an option to pre-pay for most of your meals. How are Disney Dining Plan credits stored?

Do I have to use Disney Dining Plan credits for every meal I eat?

No. Guests can pick and choose where and when they redeem their credits. Guests can pay separately from some meals and redeem their credits for others.

Do I need to purchase park passes for as many days as my Disney Dining Plan?

No. Although you need to purchase the Disney Dining Plan as part of a Magic My Way package, the Dining Plan length is tied to your Disney resort stay length. Currently, Disney only requires guests to purchase a Magic My Way package with a 1-day park pass (per guest) in order to qualify for the Disney Dining Plan. *Note*: Specially discounted packages may have unique requirements.

I already bought a Magic My Way package can I add the Disney Dining Plan?

Yes. Guests can add-on the Disney Dining Plan after the purchase of the Magic My Way package. Guests must add on the package no later than 10 days prior till their check-in to avoid complications. Due to limited availability of the Plan, it is possible for the plan to be sold out during certain time periods so Guests are urged to add-on the plan as soon as possible.

When you get the meal plan do you get a Disney Dining Plan for Dummies when you check in, or is learn as you go and you are pretty much at the mercy of the restaurant?

I am a Disney Vacation Club member; do I have to purchase a package to use the Disney Dining Plan?

No. Disney Vacation Club Members can add the Disney Dining Plan to their reservation when using points to stay at Walt Disney World Disney Vacation Club resort. Members must book the Dining Plan in advance of arrival and it must be purchased for the entire travel party (ages 3 and over) for the entire length of stay. Disney Vacation Club Members can call Member Services to add the plan to their reservation.

I have an Annual Pass, can I use the Disney Dining Plan?

Annual Passholders can use the Disney Dining Plan, but they must purchase a Magic My Way Vacation package at a rack rate. Disney offers the Disney Dining Experience card as a discount Dining program for Passholders.
