Will there be food at the festival?
Of course! Plenty of food from a variety of vendors will be available for purchase, from snacks to full meals, for both carnivores and vegetarians. Stop by the food area, near the entrance to Memorial Stadium, to sample from a wide range of Charlotte's finest tasty treats. And if you need directions, please don't hesitate to ask one of our friendly volunteers, who will point you the way!

You bet. On Friday, food will be on sale provided by the Max in-house caterer, Epoch. On Saturday and Sunday we will have a number of ethnic food booths provided by local restaurants and Detroit-area cultural organizations providing a variety of international and local fare. Beverages including beer and wine and non-alcoholic selections will also be available.

What is the policy regarding food and drink at the festival?
You can't bring your own food and alcohol into the festival village. There are plenty of food stalls that cater for all tastes at reasonable prices and the bars stock a range of drinks. This policy does not apply to the campsite. You can eat and drink your own supplies on the campsite. We do appreciate that people with allergies and/or children may find that they need to bring some food and soft drinks/water with them into the Festival Village, but please restrict this to what is reasonable. ...

Can we bring food into the festival?
Food and beverages are available for purchase on the festival grounds, however, you are also welcome to bring in coolers and food of your own. You are also welcome to bring blankets and chairs to make your concert experience more comfortable. We do ask if you choose to grill, that you do that in the parking area near your vehicle, and it must be in a contained grill for safety.

The Street party which is held on the Saturday of the festival also provides an assortment of food and drink stalls. Yes you can, as long as it’s not in any kind of glass containers, jars or bottles as there’s a 'No Glass’ policy on our site. Is food included in the Festival admission?
Nope! The hotel is a full-service hotel, and in addition to fine restaurants and room service will have small convenience food stations near the exhibit area. For the noon time concert events - the harp tastings and other events, you can grab a sandwich, salad or wrap and bring it in to the concert area and eat while you are listening. This is actually a time-saver and very cost effective!
