Is it ice cream or yogurt?

What is dairy ice and how is that different from ice cream?

Dairy ices are products with Butterfat contents ranging between 0 to 7 percent. Technically for a product to be classified as ice cream it has to have at least 10 percent butterfat. Besides our sorbets which contain no fat, we have flavours with fat content ranging between 0 and 8 percent. All our containers with the green lids are dairy ices. Is your ice cream gluten-free?

Currently, Umpqua Dairy does not use a stabilizer with a wheat base, however we are unable to guarantee that our products are entirely gluten-free because trace amounts of oat, rice and wheat gluten may be found in many of our flavors. The lowest traces of gluten would be in base flavors like Plain Vanilla, Plain Chocolate, and French Vanilla. Flavors such as Cookie Dough, Lemon Creme Pie, and Pumpkin Pie a la Mode do contain wheat in the dough / pie pieces.
