The Precinct consists of the Church, the Old Rectory, the Memorial Reserve which is home to the remnants of the early Paddington/Brisbane Cemetery headstones, Precinct Grounds and Gardens. In order to join CCF you need to take the “Discovery 1” class which is offered on a regular basis at the church. “Discovery 1” covers such subjects as: “How to know if you are a Christian” and “The Church,” which deals with the basic New Testament aspects of the church, as well as the distinctive of CCF.

We are a casual fellowship of believers who wear a wide variety of styles. We encourage you to wear whatever you feel most comfortable worshipping in. How does Christ Community Church impact its community? Or to put it differently, what are you doing to help people?

First of all, we are committed to helping people grow in their relationship with God. We have discovered that the best way to help people is to explain what Christ has done and can do for them. In addition to providing Bible Studies that meet Sunday morning, we have small group Bible studies that meet throughout the area. Each week, our bulletin is filled with opportunities to serve Christ, whether it is in teaching, developing leadership skills, making music, or other important areas.

At this time, the church offers communion on the last Sunday of each month and on special occasions such as Easter or Christmas. It is the desire of the church to offer the Lord's Supper each week, so plans are being made to do this in the best way possible.

What type of local church government does Christ Community Fellowship have?

CCF has authority divided in 3 ways: the Senior Pastor has oversight of the ministry aspects of the church with input from the church staff; the church council has oversight of non-ministry matters such as money, property, equipment, etc; and the congregation must be informed of all major decisions and given the opportunity to vote on the matters at hand. This method of operation brings checks and balance to the day-to-day matters of the church.

How Would I Become A Part of the Christ Church Community?

Membership at Christ Church begins when the date and place of one's baptism are recorded in the parish register. All persons who have been baptized in any Christian Church with water and in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are full members of the Episcopal Church when this registration occurs.
